This is the last of the VSNs I participated in. I thought I had loaded it up earlier but I was so frazzled by my lack of Photoshop skills that I guess I forgot this one. :(
This was for May07VSNE Black Eyed Susan which was use Chocolate Chip and Summer Sun. I couldn't find the stamp I wanted to use so substituted with this sunflower. This is my favorite even though its not the prettiest.
There isn't much to this one because I spent so much time trying to watercolor the flower that I had to throw the rest of it together. Thats the reason the sentiment doesn't make sense for the card; I just grabbed what fit the strip of paper and slopped it on. Same with the ribbon, there was no way I was going to fight with it to get it right, so I wrapped two small pieces around the strip, and made one-knot in two matching pieces; then stuck them on with a glue dot.
Ribbons and I dont get along. They hate me. I think all ribbon has a personal vendetta against me. Probably because I was a tom-boy and never wore them in my hair. hahaha
Anyway ... the VSN was kind-of fun, but I think I have to skip them until I can reclaim my craft room. I spend so much time running from the kitchen (current craft space) to the back of the house (storage of supplies) that the 45 minutes is more like 30. On the bright side, I may have lost an inch or so off these thighs from all the running back and forth. LOL
A big thank you to all the hostesses. Well done!!

This turned out beautifully! I think the sentiment is fine for this card. Any friend would love to receive it!

Start wearing ribbon in your hair right now...It is not too late...maybe then you can squash the vendetta...Actually I think your ribbon looks fine and I think any sentiment would work on this lovely card....
I am both impressed that you participated in VSN and jealous that you lost some inches off your thighs!

Beautiful! Thanks for taking the time to upload even though you missed the deadline....it isn't about winning (although it would be nice to, *grin*)....it is about learning and inspiration! There's no time limit for that! ;)
