1st---Carla, thanks so much for this challenge!! I have always wanted to try this (that's why I keep saving them), but never seem to get around to it. You rock, girlfriend!!
2nd---My DH can trace his family back to the Mayflower crossing. He's a descendent of Edward Doty---how cool is that? LOL, I have no idea who I am---a mutt I guess :o)
3rd---If I told you how long it takes me to design a card, you would laugh hysterically---I am beyond slow!! But, every now and again a card comes together so quickly for me---and this one was one of those. Probably bc. I have been mulling the idea over for a while and bc. I used an old SC. I am so proud of myself!! ;)
4th and last---The 'honeycomb' is what's left after you've used all of the mini pop dots---I peeled the front and embossed with glitter gold EP, then cut it down, peeled the other side, stuck it down, and ta-da!!
I brushed the CB'd piece with gold encore and there are ice stickles on the wings!!
TFL!

The inner Environmentalist in me likes this! Another way to use up my scraps! I save the tiniest bits of papers in case I can use them later, but NEVER thought to reuse this part! My little brain is furiously thinking o different ideas to use them for!

That is a beautiful card!! And I never would have thought of that, it is fantastic!! And I am sooo slow with ideas, one card can take hours lol, so you have company in that. But look at how it pays off!! Wow!
