I used a glue stick and clear EP to emboss the BasicGrey Blush bird image, and I used double sided tape and clear EP down the right side of the card. Then, I did a little emboss resist with that stripe. I made that look sort of like a ribbon by doing faux stitching in gold on either side of the embossed tape, and then adding primas to the top. The double sided tape worked pretty well for me. The glue stick turned out awful. I really ruined a pretty nice piece of paper... lesson learned - always practice on a scrap first! So, I tried to make the bird a little better by rubbing brown ink around it. That didn't help, so I added gold stickles in a dotted pattern around the edge of the bird. That helped a little, so I decided to quit before it got any worse! Overall a cool technique though. I think it would be really cool to use the double sided tape all over a piece of cardstock to make embossed stripes.

I think this is awesome! Maybe not the traditional look, but its super cool. The brown ink and dotted stickles around the bird are my favorite parts. Love how he turned out.
