Ok...this is my most favorite card that I have ever made...I started out just doing the 3" scallop circle with the blossom image....not certain what I wanted to do with it....well, many, many hours later, this is the end result and I'm so glad I kept trying different things until I got to the finish...I just love this...It is a 5 1/4" square, diagonal tri-fold fold...(card fold introduced by Julia Stainton and you can see her tutorial for it on her blog: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers ) It is a fund card to do and I find myself doing it quite often. The main image is completely beaded...I traced a gingham ribbon circle for the lavenday scalloped mat, which I cut with scalloped scissors...I cut another one the same size in basic black and just cut slightly smaller to layer between the main image and the lavendar panel...before I did this...it just seemed as if the card wasn't 'popping'...and then I remembered that quite a while back, Roxie 71 ( I LOVE her work!) had told me when that happened to try adding black and it would almost always be the missing element...so I did as she instructed, and WOW, was she sooooo right! For the next layer, I stamped vanilla CS with Floral BG in Old Olive, then I stamped French SCript BG using vanilla craft ink and then embossed with vanilla EP...Ooooh, it just made it come together even more...then I decided to add a 'bee'...so I stamped him on Shimmery White, colored and embossed with Glassy Glaze EP 5 times, then mounted him with demensionals. The rest is pretty self explainatory...I'll post a pic of the inside of the card also. Oh, and the main image (the beaded portion) is popped up on demensionals, and the lavendar panel I used my 1/4" hand held punch to create small openings in every other scalloped edge...it kind of gives it a 'lacey' look, and it allows the green panel to peak through! Thanks for hanging in there and listening to me 'gab'...I'm just so thrilled with myself....TFL.

AMAZING! This has to be one of the prettier cards I've seen! Thanks for the details! It's going right into my favs. Oh, and thanks for Rox71's comment about black! I have a card that's missing something too and that might be it!
