I've always been interested in the Bubble Queen Set and a friend sent it to me just recently...I've had the duck image for awhile and thought if I ever got the BQ set, I would want to put this duck into the tub...so, here it is! The duck is stamped, cut out, and added with dimensionals, and then I stamped the tub and colored the bubbles, added stickles, and cut out..then added onto the duck by doubling the dimensionals to give another dimension to the whole image, and hand drew the water droplets onto the main image and covered with stickles for glitz....of course, it doesn't show as well as it does IRL...but, it gives you the basic idea. I went a little crazy with the new 'pearls' I got from Ellen Hutson's store, but I just felt that they contributed to the 'bubble' effect, along with the scalloped edges on the paper (used Fiskars scalloped scissors to accomplish the desired effect). I had to write the sentiment by hand, since I didn't have any stamp to use, and I guess it is OK...on the inside of the card I wrote: 'To have you for a friend!'. In the end, this is the most 'embellished' card I've created, and I definitely need to keep working on this, but it is a pretty good start. I'm pleased with it. Thanks for looking.
