I was inspired by the mosaic part of the candle holders as well as the stripes. I just used scraps for this card and it took on a life of its own. First, I used a scrap of WW, marked it with my VersaMark marker pen, embossed w/silver EP, and colored in with WC crayons (Blues and Greens). I used scraps of ribbon to create the stripes. It sort of looked like stained glass from a church to me, thus the handwritten 'Believe'. I used a scrap of Handsom Hunter and punched the corner w/wrought iron corner punch, used another scrap of WW and wrote the sentiment. I sponged a bit with a kitchen sponge because it was too white. The Not Quite Navy base card was the only part that wasn't a scrap piece! Thanks for taking a peek!!!

Great card ... I like the decorative corner punch and the contrast between the stripes and mosaic ... thanks for all of the info on your process ... I always enjoy knowing how others create ... the silver is the perfect touch.
