This was a quick, easy card to make. I've been experimenting with crimping lately and wondered what an image would look like if I crimped it. I don't think it took anything away from it by doing that. I wanted the background stamp to be read on the card turned horizontally. I liked the border I had where the bg stamp didn't cover. I used the left-over ink on my brayer to fill in the area. I placed a piece of paper over the bg and brayered up against the bg image. I like the effect. I used the color coach to put colors together. I always have trouble using the bold brights. My kids do it so naturally. I'm gonna have to take lessons from them!

I like this! I have this stamp and have only used it once or twice - never really thought about just stamping it and then highlighting just some things - always felt like I needed to color the entire image.
