Thank you for your kind remarks! I'll try to explain the making of this card to you. (With my crappy english ) This card was by the way published in Norways largest and only (!) cardmaking magazine.
The bacground consists of two seperate papers. One coppertoned one on the left, and one brownish one on the right.
The left one is stamped with a text background stamp which is partly embossed and partly with goldleaf. It is stamped with Palette, which I use with goldleaf, and then while its heated and still hot, I brush on goldleaf and brush of the excess gold after it has cooled down.
The same procedure goes for the butterly which I used variegated goldleaf on.
The key, is an artmould key which i used both Adirondack, Black memories, pefect pearls and Lumiere on in a big huge mess to get it looking more real and distressed. (I'll just use what I have.. and mix it all together!:-D )
The metal piece on the left hand side is actually a brassmetal piece which I used metal-equipment on to press and mould it into a plastic mould I have. Afterwards I used both Adirondack and Lumiere on it to change the color from the bright brass to a more distressed brass-color. Its attached to the card with dobblesided gluetape.
