The firm I work at was going to throw out a bunch of these data CD cases so I took them home, figuring I could use them one way or another! I decorated the outside of this case which holds a photo CD of the pictures I took the day my dear friend joined us for a day in the Big Apple. I scanned the case and converted the pic into a label that I printed and put on the CD itself. I’m sending it to my friend, along with a coordinated birthday card and altered altoid tin that holds a (very) little gift. Hope she likes it—although we normally don’t exchange gifts cross-country, she’s going through a divorce and can use some cheering up.

I love to repurpose things, too. This is a beautiful example of "one man's trash is (or can easily become!) anothers treasure". Thanks for sharing your project =)
