This is for LSC115 to have lots of blank space. I originally started this by masking off an oblong frame over the scene and sponged Brocade Blue around it so it could be a totally faux layered card.....but I didn't like it in the end and had to put the little frame around it.
I masked off the complete scene area with post-its so I could paint the area. I used Brown Stazon to stamp the cows and my brown artist pen to draw the fence and the trees. I used a small tipped mini sponge applicator to create the leaves for the trees and the grassy area. I used my soon to be *retired* mini fern stamp to add just a little more texture to the grass and used a stamped off ink with the fern on the frame as well. My friend, Wendy (wereids) gave me this scalloped border image made by Impression Obsession and I used it up and down to create a faux looking ribbon or sorts. The sentiment is from simply said. The cows were painted with reinkers and water. By the way....if you haven't tried Fabriano notecards...you should. It is like a dream to work on. Oh....and I had to put a piece of brocade paper behind it as the white cardstock just washed away with the scan and would only show up the little scene.

Hey there! I'm so honored to have my card positioned right next to your adorable card in the LSC gallery! A cute scene, as always; they are the cutest little cows. I love the scalloped border image!
