I finally was able to design a 1st communion card using SU stamps. Too bad they're retiring.
The grapes were stamped first, with a portion of the grapes cut out and popped up.
The chalice was my own design and was made with the polished stone technique only using regular whisper white instead of glossy paper. For some reason, the look I wanted worked better with the ww. The chalice is raised with dimentionals
The wheat was made with the Spring Garden set and a marker. I first drew a line and then I stamped the very tip of the long stem/leaf stamp for each grain. Inking only every second or third grain gave the wheat a more delicate look.
