This card was for IC74 and also WT111. What I liked about the inspiration image were the colors red and green and the red dots. It is a challenge to use red and green and think of anything other than Christmas but I've had this dp for a while and have been waiting for the right project.
I found this cool scalloped Bazzill paper this week. I folded it in half and it makes a card that's about 6x6. I happen to have some square envies to fit so that was a relief!
I sponged the edges of the scallops with Walnut Stain ink and then added a brad in each scallop. I added some dp and then made "corners" out of a matching dp matted with Real Red cs. Added the riveting set in the lower right corner and adhered some ribbon up the left side just along the score mark. The bird was stamped on Acetate, run through the Xyron and then dabbed on the back with Pearl Ex powders and some reinkers. The bird is mounted on a square of olive cs that is popped up from the red scalloped square.
I can't decide if I want to put brads up the fold side of the card - what do you think?

I think it's lovely just the way it is. The red ribbon on the left brings the red of the eyelets over to that side, so I don't think they are necessary near the fold. I LOVE the way you did the bird. Very, very sweet!

Love the scalloped edge; and how you used the window sheet. I too have the same problem with red & green - but that pattern paper really is perfect. Thanks for playing!
