I made this photo album for my mom for Mother's Day using my new Bind-It-All. Having fun with this new toy! There are 6x6 top loading photo page protectors inside. For those of you interested here are the specs & some things I learned.
chipboard (actually more like sturdy cardboard): 7" x 6 1/2"
25 page protectors: the left margin had pre-punched holes which I cut off leaving enough room to for the BIA to punch
Using the BIA on plastic was a bear. I'd never do this again. The holes that actually punched sort of stuck inside the BIA due to static electricity. The remaining punched holes were like hanging chads that I had to cut off with scissors. Very time consuming. But it did work.
I used Mod Podge to glue on the cover paper. My covers tended to warp so I had to pile a bunch of books on them before binding to flatten them out. If I'd used real chipboard that probably wouldn't have been necessary.
I used card stock cut 6x6 to cover the inside of the covers.
The coil is 3/4" but I think it should have been 7/8" or 1"
I had fun making it. Now I need to copy off a bunch of pictures to fill the album. Or at least get my mom started Thanks for looking!
p.s. the text was generated on my computer and sized to fit into the scalloped oval.

I tell you what, WOW! This is an amazing project and I know your mom is going to love this! I'm so impressed that you made a book from scratch. The cover is so beautiful, the paper and stamp sets go great together and the ribbon adds a classy touch. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!!
