I created a simple wash of color as a back-drop for the focal, and when it was dry, the branch was stamped over the top of that. The nest was stamped, watercolored, and trimmed out from a scrap piece of Fabriano--always save the scraps from botched projects for times like this! *wink*
It's hard to see it in the photo, but I did glitter the egg--I love how it shimmers IRL on the card. These little pink paper posies remind me of cherry blossoms, altho the cherry blossom trees along the driveway are all spent now--for a few days they were absolutely glorious, and when the wind blew it was like being in a pink blizzard! All the blossoms and the gingham bow are secured with Mini Glue Dots--love those things . . .
