| | What fun! I made this for a bridal shower card. I've wanted to do the minibrad/glitter idea and totally forgot about it until I saw the idea in the catelog as I was looking at the discontinued sets. REALLY easy. The mulberry batik technique is fun. I used the flower from the Heart and Soul set to make the batik and then used Mint Melody and Mauve Mist for the color. I tried not to color every inch of the mulberry paper. I adhered the piece of M. paper to a piece of card and trimmed with the SU deckle scissors and then sponged the edges so it blends in. I cased this somewhat from Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. Thanks for the great idea! The materials are listed below. The ribbon that is showing out the side actually is to a gift card envelope which I attached to the inside. I would take a picture of this but I had enough trouble getting this one. |
