My first post! A while back we were talking about what to do with those little file folders. I don't have a santa stamp so I challenged myself to make a x-mas card without one. Let me know how to improve! I call this my 'prototype', quality not high enough to send, but a start.

I think this idea is so cute - should put the fear of Santa into all those bad boys and girls! How about changing the colors to more Christmas colors, it would reinforce the theme, apart from that I think it's great!

The mini folder is cute, haven't seen that before. Where did you find it? You could write the name of the person on the tab and then instead of gluing the front flap down, put it up so the receiver can open it to check the file contents. I think ruby red and old olive is a nice combo, for some reason the red looks a bit orange here, but I'm sure it looks Christmassy in person.

ikimom, great idea to open the file folder! This would be neat as the 'inside' of the card. I bought the file folders at Hobby Lobby in their scrapbooking dept, I think there are 8 or 10 in the package (computer is at other end of house from the studio!) I found the slide mounts to make shaker cards in the same section, fyi.
Thanks!
