I was inspired by this post: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=243704 to make a book with my Bind It All that would have a separate page for each punch (that I own) so that I can lay the punched part over a stamped image to see if it would fit (either on the punched paper or through a punched window). I was tempted to buy one of these already done by one of our fabulous SCS members, but then I realized that most of my punches aren't the SU brand.
So yesterday I cut out all of my cardstock (DCWV) and punched one punch per page. Then I took out my trusty heated laminator and laminated all of the pages. I had thought about trimming the laminated pages down and just punch a hole in the corner, but then thought that I could make a cute book with my Bind It All. :) I cut out the front and back covers with the chipboard I bought at Hobby Lobby and covered them with TAC paper (A Little Whimsy). Punched the holes with the BIA, assembled the book and crimped the coil. I used my Curls and Swirls Cuttlebug alphabet to form the title, stuck the letters through the Xyron 150 and then proceeded to get the letters stuck to my fingers.
Then I remembered a tip I had viewed on the Scrapbooking show on DIY about lining up your sticker letters on the used sticker sheet and using repositionable tape to pick up the word and place them where they should go. Worked perfectly! I was able to just lift the tape and letters off the release paper and put them exactly where I wanted, all at once. Then I just peeled the tape off the word and I was done!!
Should I buy any more punches that need to be added to this book, I can still punch with the BIA and then make a small slit from the hole to the edge of the page so I can insert the page into my book.
Note: I didn't punch all of my little shape punches, just the ones that I wanted to be able to use with my stamps.
