My first comissioned card! I made it for the general's wife's farewell. I wanted to make it look like forget-me-nots, Alaska's state flower. I embossed the "Farewell" as well as the center of each flower (my first time embossing, quite the undertaking). Then I put a dot of yellow acrylic paint to finish them off. Inside I printed "May the memories and friendships you've made here last a lifetime." I think all and all, they look like the flower and I'm happy with the way it turned out. Most importantly the battalion commander's wife, who asked me to make the card, really like it. Yay!
