Those pictures were taken at Universal Studios theme park in Florida.
I wasn't sure I liked how my page was turning out at all when I first started. I was struggling, probably in part because I have a lot of trouble using the Bold Brights. Once I figured out how to add my title to the page, though, the whole design grew on me.
The spiderweb comes from the Halloween papers from the last minicatalogue. The spiderweb was really pale, so I went over the lines with my sparkly gel pen and drew the lines all the way to the edges of my cardstock (I think you can see it in the picture).
I also used the Rough Texture wheel to add interest to my purple cs. After covering it all in white, I thought I could rotate my cardstock to make vertical stripes and add some black stripes to mimick the Beetlejuice's outfit.
As for the challenge part, I used chipboard for my title and the star. I covered all letters with craft ink, then added designs and embossed those with hologram powder (Rough Texture, argyle, Canvas). I finished off the edges by adding a different color with markers.
