This is my second attempt at Batik. I think I am getting the hang of it so I can teach my tech class this Thurs.
I am going to keep it simple. It's amazing how these come out so different. It's hard to control where that ink is going when it's wet! I did end up using small paint brushes and reinkers. You really need to use those to get the intense color. Also, I love the mulberry paper. Oh, if you want it whiter, use white embossing powder. And then mount the batik to white cs.

I love cards that have different feel to them...not my regular rectangles and sqaures mounted on rectangles and sqaures. This design and technique is eyecatching enough for me to post my first comment to any card in any gallery. I am no longer a quiet observer...Well done.
