When I saw Jeanne's purse for the inspiration challenge - I immediately thought of the Balmy Breezes stamp set. And I was super excited because this is my first time to use it! :-)
The pineapples were obvious, and I love how they switch directions, up and down. Great pattern there. The colors made me think of a tropical sunset, so I watercolored one behind my palm tree using the aquapainter and reinkers. Then, I noticed the initials "JB" on the purse which followed the same pattern as the pineapple, and I thought "HB" from It's Your Birthday.
I love how this card turned out, and I love that it can be for either a man or woman. But, I think I'll send it to my grandmother for her birthday.

How pretty this is. You know, I completely missed those pineapples -- had to go back and check. I like the linen thread holding the main image -- good job on the watercoloring.

Beautifully executed! This card is how I wanted mine to look, but I didn't have the right stamps. LOL I like how you did some of the pineapples upside-down. (Pineapple upside-down purse.) Turning 'JB' into 'HB' was clever.
