The original idea for these came from this Gallery.
This is a 12"x12" scrapbook page protector made into a gift pouch for a graduation gift. Cut the holes off the page protector first. Use a 12"x12" piece of SB paper to insert into the pouch for a backing piece. Cut a 5"x 12" piece of B&W dot paper and glue it to the top of the black backing paper to create a flap. Use a strip of coordinating black paper to make a hinge on the flap. Cut the point of the flap or leave it straight, or even scallop it!
Inside are thank you notes for the grad. The Thank you stamp is from Hero Arts #H2951
The RSVP pen has paper inside to decorate the pen. You can also bead these pens....
I used a 4" round coaster covered with SB paper to make the calendar magnet.
I covered a premade journal with SB paper and die cut the letters with Red Tag Sale Dies from Cuttlebug. Tied various ribbons to the spine of the journal for decoration.
You could also make an address book or other things for the inside of the pouch. The original designs used 6"x6" page protectors, but I found then rather small, so I tried larger ones. Tie the whole thing shut with ribbons.

Very striking gift set. That "thank you" is a gorgeous script. And the ribbons are just wonderful. TFS and giving the directions for the larger pouch size.
