I love my new contraband stuff. It's hard to put my Fancy Pants stamps away. They are acrylic stamps...but the stamp sooo pretty and have these gorgeous swirls and designs.
The clear flower is a Heidi Swapp ghost shape (thanks Charmaine), the flower center is stamped with Fancy Pants stamps. I added a small round page pebble over it.
Under the clear flower is Gypsy paper that I had stamped earlier with Fancy Pants swirls in white to give it a bit more texture. I then added stardust stickle under the petals of the ghost flower, let it dry and cut it out.
The Hardware is Silver Hodgepodge hardware from Stampin' Up!. I added Midnight black DewDrop ink over it and embossed it.
Do you think I can send this as a condolence card? Or is hope not a good word for that...

Wow! Your card is so beautiful, Beate! I think it's an appropriate sympathy card, especially if you write something like 'Hoping your treasured memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.'

I think the sentiment inside the card will determine whether it is appropriate as a sympathy card. The outside is gorgeous, and "hope" is a good way to cope with grief.

Great card! I love the brad in the flower. I think it might be a bit too cheery for a condolence card, but it would depend on who you're sending it too. Maybe same layout/stamps/etc. and a more subdued paper?
