Here is my very first swap card. It is a swap using the earth elements colors from stamping up. I was getting board of making regular sized square cards so I decided to try making a circle card.
I used my coluzzle to cut a full circle in NQN and then second circle that I cut at 2 1/2 to make the half circle. Glued them at the edges and did faux stitching around the edges with my white gel pen. Then I cut the yellow circle from Pumpkin Pie and faux stitched around it with my close to cocoa marker. Punched a hole and tied some SU hemp.
Then I took the small flower from Delight in Life and stamped on some Summer Sun in Close to Cocoa ink. Then the hard part -- cutting all those flowers out!! I colored the centers in with Pumpkin Pie marker. I also stamped some of the same flowers on Old Olive and cut them out and apart for leaves.
I added a Designer Label punch on the bottom of the card -- I didn't put a sentiment because I thought the receipents could add whatever they wanted to use the card for before giving it away!! That punch is faux stitched with close to cocoa marker.
Finally, I added some dazzling diamond glitz with 2 way glue.
The only item on this card that is not SU is the orange or yellow ribbon across the middle -- only because I don't have any SU grosgrain ribbon in these colors.
I hope everyone enjoys these cards -- they were fun to make (except the cutting of the flowers hehehe).
