For a recent swap...I made 24 of these puppies! The theme was sets we hope don't retire...this one tops my list
Mass stamping isn't my favorite thing, but I'm so happy with the way these turned out. Hope my fellow swappers are, too!
I received a nice PM requesting some additional instruction on making this card...here goes!
Stamp various images in Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip Classic ink on More Mustard CS, and sponge edges using the same three colors. Set aside.
Stamp Weathered BG on Close to Cocoa CS with Chocolate Chip ink; sponge edges with Chocolate Chip ink as well. Layer stamped More Mustard CS on Close to Cocoa CS on a slight angle and trim overhang. Distress edges using method you prefer.
The stitching on this card is faux - create this look using your paper piercing tools and a Chocolate Chip Marker. Once pierced, layer on Chocolate Chip CS and distress edges. Set base aside.
Stamp palm tree image using Timber Stazon on watercolor paper; watercolor as desired. Distress edges and layer with Chocolate Chip CS. Distress those edges, too. Attach hemp. Stamp and watercolor pineapple image on scrap watercolor paper; punch using large oval punch and sponge edges using Chocolate Chip ink. Affix to tree image using Stampin' Dimensional.
Affix tree image to card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. Stamp sentiment (I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for better placement). Use your favorite liquid glue (I used Mod Podge) to affix the beach sand to the lower portion of the stamped tree image.
I don't really measure anything when I'm stamping...so the only thing I can confirm is that the size of the card is a smidge under the standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
I hope this helps!

What lucky swappers they'll be to get this, and what a great idea for a swap! This has always been one of my favorite sets too, now if only I could color like you!

This is spectacular! I can't imagine doing one, let alone doing 24. This looks like a weathered travel journal that would hold lots of good stories. It would make a great notebook or journal cover.

Fabulous Job!
I love this set too... I went to the Aussie SU site and they retired it in Australia, but they have a smaller catty than we do and they have old stuff that we haven't had for a bit.
