This is cased from a card on display at The Artful Hand; I don't know the artist's name to give him/her credit. I added a few elements of my own: the ribbon on the lower edge, the splatter background used to fill the white space, and the stitching lines. I also used an exacto knife to cut out lots more of the detail than on the original sample I saw. Also, on the original, another smaller flower stamp was used for the three flowers across the top. I just restamped the same image repeatedly and cut it out. This stamp reminds me of battenburg lace! I'm also going to try it white on white, and white on vellum. TFL!

at first glance i thought of a window box! you prolly think i am crazy but...
you know how buildings have the decorative medallions out side and the bottom edge of this card looked like the flowers spilling out of a flower box!

Oh my, this is beautiful - I love that lacy edge, and the raised flowers with the faux-stitched frames. I may just have to try that cut-out edge (I'm already thinking about a few stamps I have that it would work with), so into my favorites this card goes...and thanks for the inspiration!
