DonnaC - Why did you use the yard stick? Were the small punches too small for the curtain rod? or did the yard stick support them better. How did you attach it to the wall? (It's too hard to see). You can e-mail me at:[email protected] Thanks!

WOW, finally an idea I can use!! I have looked at all the different ideas posted on here, and yours is the first one I can actually use with my set-up!! What a great idea; can't believe it has never been thought of before -- way to go gal!! Could you please answer the above questions re: the yardstick (where/what for?) and how attached (just like normal curtain rods??)

I attached the curtain rod with the same hangers you use when hanging a curtain. I used two of the rod bracers? to help support the weight. I used the yardstick because the small punches didn't stay on the rod. They kept sliding and falling through. I used a piece of 1 inch wood block behind the yardstick on each end and then drilled a hole and used wood screws to hold it. If that doesn't explain let me know and I'll see if I can go into more detail and maybe take more pics.

Amazing! I'm SO glad you posted this. This is the best idea I've seen in a long time, and I actually already have a spare curtain rod on hand! Woo-hoo!...I'm off to rearrange a bit of my craft room so I can do this.

Just love your storage idea for all your punches! Wait till I show my hubby what he'll have to do next, although I don't have as nearly many as you do! Also love your create letters above your space, very pretty.
