So, tonight I wanted to try her "style" out for myself. It is very different from my typical style of card... but IT WAS SO MUCH FUN to make!!
I used my newest Basic Grey paper pack for the dp background and also stamped onto it and cut out the flowers from Delight in Life. I colored in the middle of the flowers with my more mustard marker and sponged the edges with close to cocoa. I curled the petals and leaves with my finger to make them lay more realistic. The yellow flower is popped up with a dimensional.
I took a chipboard oval and covered it with more of the Basic Grey paper and sponged and inked the edge with close to cocoa. Then I added a piece of a swirly rub on by Fancy Pants Designs. I stamped Happy Birthday in Chocolate Chip.
I made the little tag on the bottom out of Not Quite Navy, covered it with a little piece of the Basic Grey Paper and used the Fancy Flexible Phrases (words from 2 different stamps) to finish the saying "To You". Finished it all off with some yellow organdy ribbon.
I hope Michelle likes it, even if it didn't turn out nearly as beautiful as her creations !!

It's always a treat for me too see what my work inspires in others! I absolutely LOVE the way this card turned out. The colors are fantastic, and I love the covered chipboard in the center. You really did an awesome job on it! Thanks for linking to my blog and gallery too - I apppreciate it!
