I saw a matchbook 3x3 album in the latest Oriental Trading scrapbooking catalog, and thought I'd try to make one using my 4x4 square coasters I just bought from Barb Cole. I hole punched the left edge of the coasters and the cardstock, then ran twine through and tied them loosely so the coasters...i.e. pages...could be turned. I used the metallic art pencils to color in the fish. When I went to wiggle the image to give it some texture, the metallic came off on my thumbs and went onto the cardstock, giving it some color, which I thought was cool. Wheeled some cardstock in different summery themes to make papers to cover the coasters on both sides. Used a corner rounder on the edges to finish them off. I guess I can just find some beach photos and adhere them for a cute little album. Thanks for looking!
