This is my contribution to the 50 States Swap. The little brad way at the top of the state shows about where I live. Yep, I live almost on the lake!! Actually about 1/2 mile away! The brad is actually gold, but shows up darker for some reason in the picture.
The blue background is about the color of our state flag. We grow LOTS of corn here. We have LOTS of big basketball with 3 big powerhouse schools (IU, Purdue, Notre Dame) & the Pacers. And of course the Indy 500. Our nickname is, as most know, the Hoosiers.

Hey, that's where I'm headed tomorrow! My parents live in Culver and my 7 year old son is convinced he's going to ND for college! I told him to start saving
Nice card...it's cute AND informative!

I'm a born and bred Hoosier too ! (what is that anyhow? ) and I LOVE your card. I'm from Martinsville, graduated from Indiana State (not listed in yours of power house schools, but I went to school with Larry Bird and we were THEN!) I am transplanted to Oregon, but I miss the fields of corn and wheat, but not the humidity and the drifts of snow up to my eyebrows and the cold, where your nose freezes together while you wait for the bus for school!
