This is for color challenge 107 to use mustard, cranberry and caribbean. I uploaded this once and wrote a huge long story about this odd and ugly card. I don't have the energy to repeat it but I will tell the details of the card. I stamped stazon on glossy paper. I brayered mustard on the top part and caribbean on the bottom. I painted cranberry on the lighthouse, painted a huge, ugly sun with a mustard marker and added some ground area. I put versa all over the ugly thing and put glassy glaze all over that to if it helped. It didn't!! I made a frame out of cb bubble embossing folder, brayered it with mustard and there you have it. You are so lucky. The first upload story was lots longer and full of sad drama. The one really interesting thing I did on this card that I will try for future cards is that I filled the brayer with mustard ink and rolled it over the bubble embossed paper and then rolled it on the mustard layer to see if the bubbles would come off the brayer. It worked and made a very cool bg. I'm not sure it can be seen in the scan.

And here I was, thinking I was the only one having trouble with the color challenge card today. Thanks for the giggle. (I am laughing with you, not at you!) It is great that you came up with a new background idea during your trials. Thanks for pointing it out.

Sorry I didn't get back down to the fishies and crabs to tell you why I liked your underwater card so much but when I came up for air, I got hung up looking at this lighthouse! LOL!
I can see the little cuttlebugged background, very faintly. What a great idea that was, it's cool to keep that in mind for all the different folders. This is a great card despite how you arrived at it. It inspires me that you too have trouble on occasion with a card.....

I like it, Kittie! Your creativity is there with the cb impression rubbed off...and I love the cutout with the lighthouse. I had a tough time with these colors too!! But you are too hard on yourself! This is a very nice card!

Kittie, you are way too funny! I like the card, the background images would work great with the set Wild About You as well. I know exactly what you mean about your feelings for this card. I have a stack of cards upstairs I still haven't uploaded because I feel the same way.
