When I first read this challenge, I thought it would be so hard!! It was so fun, although I did feel like I was playing a game of chess---having to think so far ahead as to what colors I wanted to show through and what I wanted to be clear embossed and what color to brayer....yikes!! I don't even plan tomorrow that far in advance (I don't play chess that well either, LOL!)
I started with VV and stamped the flowers in cameo coral, blush blossom, and ruby red. Then I stamped Word by Word in versamark and clear embossed. Then I overstamped the flowers in versamark and clear embossed again. Then I brayered the entire piece in sage shadow. Finally, I stamped the doodling in brown StazOn.
So pretty! I have fallen in love with this technique. It looks just like Basic Grey Blush dp!!
For the main flower, I stamped it in VV craft and embossed in VV EP, then brayered over the flower in sage. I stamped and embossed another VV flower, cut it out and popped it up.
I stamped 'friend' on an acetate tag, but I don't think it shows up very well.
Thanks for the challenge---a new technique. Yaaaay!
TFL!
