I found this frame several years ago at Costco and it has hung on my bare wall for a while now. I wanted it to impart the sense of family that I feel and what better way than by using chipboard letters to actually spell it out!!!
I love, Love, LOVE the DS Paper: Au Chocolate as well as the DS Paper Recollections. I had decided earlier this year that I needed to incorporate my love of papercrafting into my house decorating so that I am surrounded by what I love and it gives me an opening to share to what I love when people ask about it.
Since my house is a mix of browns and burgandy with a little green I decided to use the above mentioned DS paper in my efforts.
I had found a tutorial on 2 peas a while ago that showed how to cover a barn star...LOVED that idea, so when I found a barn star I snatched that up. I also love chipboard and letters so when I found the Making Memories chipboard kit for Family it went into the pile as well.
I finally got some time to work on them last week, and i am really happy with how they turned out. I didn't put ribbon on my accents because I don't like how they look when they catch dust...but I don't like how these DON'T have ribbon, so I will have to add ribbon and deal with dust.
My next project will be a set of picture coasters...oooh this is SO much fun!

Very nice. I have almost the same frame and the Family letters but have not put them up or even put pictures in them. Yours is so cute it has really inspired me. TFS!
