This challenge was just perfect for a very special purpose. We lost my SIL to cancer last September. She was only 45 and a very talented artist (the things she could do with seed beads and thread were just amazing as just one example). My husband and SIL have been renovating Marti's house since that time (the house needed major work). My husband totally gutted the downstairs and is in the process of reframing and installing new drywall. We're going to be placing small tokens to Marti on the inside of the wall. This is what I made for Marti. Marti loved dragonflies and the color purple. This is for her.
The technique used is Acetate Frost. Super quick and easy with an awesome end result. Sorry about the poor picture/glare. I had no choice but to take this pic late at night as hubby left to go work on the house before sunrise. Technique from Technique Junkies.
