This is a card done for MAR07VSNR. It is my second time using the "misting" technique for VSN but that is great with me - it's one of my favorite techniques.
This card started with the daisy from Petal Prints. Inked it with Cameo Coral and then edged it with Ruby Red. Then used summer sun and more mustard markers for the center. Misted it with water and stamped on watercolor paper a few times, misting between each stamp. Then I added some stems and foilage using old olive and the same tech. The edge of the water color paper was sponged with old olive and some paper piercing was done in the corner. This main image is matted on black. I've had this beautiful green paper (one small bit left) that I've been saving for a special occasion -- nothing could be more special than VSN. So I used it and another piece of the Romance paper from Blush (Basic Grey). Layed all of these on vanilla cs which is sponged lightly in opposite corners with old olive. Finally, I used the Circle of Friends sentiment, cut out the center and tied a black organdy ribbon in the middle.
I hope you enjoy!

Your card is stunning. I like the misting, piercing, the organdy ribbon - everything! I've never tried misting a stamp before, but will certainly have to put it on a list of things to do!
