i made this tin for my niece. i was SO happy on how it turned out!!! i went to the scrapbooking store and got the mermaid paper and the Little Mermaid Stickers to add to the tin.
when everything was dried, i filled the inside with Little Mermaid treats - lip gloss, crayons, little stamp set, pencils, stickers, and not sure what else.
(i was a little unhappy - on the front of the tin, a part of the mermaid's face and hair came off. i had to apply pressure with the back of my sponge brush to keep it down so it would stick. after a while when i lifted my brush off those parts suck to the back of the brush - UGGGHHH!!! i already came so far and didn't want to scrap the whole project.)

So cute! I'm sure your niece will love it -- I know my daughter would!

Oh how I love the Little Mermaid. I have stuff with my name everywhere now!! This is the cutest little tin I've seen! Now I will have to get some scrapping paper for sure. I've been on the fence about getting any, but since I've seen your tin, I will get some now!
Great job with the top, too!

Gracie loves her tin box and her friends want one too!!!!
We used a little blend of red and pink sharpie over the hair on the front and camouflaged the tiny part that the glue lifted. I was also ready to super glue a cloth flower to it. Not a big deal.
We love it! Thanks from the bottom of Gracie's heart (and mine!)
