This retired set, Fanciful Flowers, will have to do until I can work Roses in Winter into my budget. It isn't nearly as cool as RIW, but when I get the urge to make two-step stamped flowers, I can grab the set.
I rarely think to use Almost Amethyst, so I thought I would see what colors work with it. Rose Red as suggested by the color wheel? It seemed unlikely, but it worked.
I was going to use Regal Rose too, but I just don't think it looks good with Rose Red. (I miss Rose Romance!!) So, I stamped off Rose Red for the flowers' 'solid' parts. I stamped off Mellow Moss for the leaves' backgrounds too.

Very nicely done. Like this stamp set too!

This was the First SU stamp set I ever purchased! Sadly, it took me years before I really got into this hobby. Now I have lots of stuff (though I crave more all the time!) and I recently used this set to make birthday cards for some little girls. I really like how you used the set here.

I considered using Rose Red and Almost Amethyst on my card lastnight, but settled on doing a black and white card. I LOVE your card! It looks so pretty in these colors!
