This was one of my Nov. Gifts and Wrapping Stamp Camps. I played around with colors on this one, I did some bright combos - yellow and purple, pink and orange, etc.

I have this set and would love to case for my group. I need help! Do you cut around the shape of the snowmen OR cut the window sheet in a circle, roll up and slip into ornament? Can you use markers to color? Thank for sharing and helping

Because of the size of the glass ornaments (I wanted the full image of the snowmen to show, that's why I went with this size), I used the SU! Narrow Organdy ribbon spool as a guide, traced it on a piece of paper, included a tab to fit in the neck of the ornament, placed the patern over the window sheet and cut them both out together (I didn't trace it onto the window sheet because I didn't want to have markings on the window sheet). I have heard that people use the Coluzzle to make the template for smaller ornaments (the lines were either too large or too small to use on this size). I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to make sure the stamped image would completely fit on the cut out window sheet, stamped it with Stazon, when it was dry I flipped it over and colored with Sharpies and painted on some glitter glue to make the snowmen stand out. I don't know if SU! markers would work for coloring, I think they would just wipe off or bleed together. When the glitter glue was dry, I used a stylist to wrap the window sheet around to get a tight roll to fit in the neck of the ornament. I used the stylist then to make adjustments to the window sheet once it was inside the ornament. I took a few strands of tinsel (from the Christmas Dept. at Wal-Mart), rolled it between my hands so it looked like a Brillo pad or something similar, and stuffed some inside the ornament.

Very cute! I am going to do this with another stamp set and I'm thankful for your explanation because I wasn't sure how to get it in the actual ornament! Great job!

The cut window sheet to fit inside a large glass ornament is 3 1/4 inches across with about a 5/8 inch neck tab. You could get by probably with 3 1/8 inches, I noticed it was a bit snug when I put it inside the ornament.

I like the tinsel at the bottom to anchor the snowmen. I think shredded white styrofoam would look like snow, too. Thanks for sharing your idea with us.
