I've recently seen some white on white cards, which are just beautiful so I thought I'd give it a try. I stamped my background image with VersaMark and stamped onto the vellum (I traced around a chipboard heart for the heart shape), and embossed with Winter White embossing powder. I then ran a VersaMarker around the edge of the heart, dipped the edges in the powder and embossed the edges. I really liked the white on white idea but without a textured background paper it looked rather flat so I thought a pale background color would be nice. I went with Bashful Blue, added some doodles in Bashful Blue (after sponging a little blue ink on the blue paper). The edges are paper pieced and I sponged a piece of chipboard with more Bashful Blue before adding my sentiment in Basic Black. I really like the look of the embossed vellum, will have to try a few more cards with this technique!
