Well.....this inspiration challenge card took a life of its own....I started with stripes in black, gray, and white......and in the long process ended up with aged oriental......who ever knows where the inspiration piece will take you......I ended here with the scattered kanji for seasons background by Sonlight Impressions as it reminded me of the scattered flowers on the inspiration piece. Then since that represented four seasons, I went with the four geisha.......and they looked a little nondimensional so I added the cracling......and then I did want to have some scattered flowers so went with one on each corner. In real life the flowers match the main image. Because of the 3-D effect on the card, the scanner read the flowers as a much lighter color than the main image.....those darn scanners.......anyway...that is the story behind this creation. I love all things Asian so I am happy with it but am still amazed at the twists and turns this creation went through....probably should have called it metamorphosis.....(or something like that).....thanks for looking

Oh Joanne, this is awesome! I love those cherry blossoms and the asain images with the crackling stamped over them. Your card may have morphed and had a mind of it's own, but it was definately went in a good direction.
