This is for the limited supplies challenge: no layers, one stamp-sentiment only, any paper or ink color. Whew, this was tough for someone who ALWAYS layers. I don't know if I've ever made a card without one. But I love embellishments.
The background was created with chalk shavings in water. You slide the cardstock over the top after swirling the colors together. I don't know the proper name given to this technique. I couldn't find it in the resource section.
The friend was stamped in cool caribbean then rock and rolled in choc. chip after coloring the word friend in choc. chip.
I also tipped the flowers in cool caribbean then squirted with water to make the marker run.
I just received the ribbon sliders in the mail from breeze7 yesterday. What a peach!! They worked perfect for this embellished card. All the embellishments are from making memories. tfl

I just love that background! I can't wait to try it- never heard of it before. And I love how you tore off the bottom of the CS. I never would have thought that far outside the box! Very creative! TFS!
