These are so easy to make! I wanted them to look like little books so I gave them a spine and a bound edge. The tied cord is elastic–it’s decorative and it holds the book closed. Slip it off and the book opens all the way for easy access to the Post-Its. They’re pretty inside and out, using double sided designer paper. I left these kind of bare-boned so you could get a better idea of how they’re made, but you could decorate them to your heart’s content!
The papers used on these are, back to front, Enchante, Petals and Paisley, and Petal Patch.
Did you know that Scotch double stick tape comes in a removable form? It's wonderful stuff and it works beautifully with our paper crafts! If you ever have problems with Post-Its wanting to slip out of the holder, Scotch has the solution. Just put it on the back of the pad and when you use the last sheet it comes off easily so you can change the pad. It works especially well with bigger pads that you might use for refrigerator Post-It holders.
If you'd like to make these, the best way I know to share the instructions with you is to refer you to my blog where I've written a tutorial with pictures. Just one click on the link below will take you straight to the Post-Its. I hope you enjoy them!
