This was one of the hardest cards I've ever had to make. I made this card for my sister, Gillian, who recently had to put down her beloved Kitten who was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was very unexpected, and progressed rapidly, but Gillian did the most brave and courageous thing a pet owner can do by keeping Kitten from suffering any longer. My family and I all loved Kitten like a member of the family and I really think she thought she was a person!
I borrowed the layout of the card from Heather aka kysmom (Gallery at Splitcoaststampers) on Splitcoaststampers. She has graciously given me permission to link to her card. Also be sure to check out her fabulous gallery!

This is a beautiful card! I'm sure it was very hard for your sister and your family...but the little kittie will be waiting for your sister at the Rainbow Bridge!

Such a lovely card. I know it will bring comfort to your sister. Our four legged friends are as important to us as our two legged ones. Sometimes more so.

what a wonderful card to recieve for loss of precious kitty.
we lost both of our kitties within a month of each other.. brother and sister..they were 15 yrs old but still really hard ..
We went to the animal shelter and adopted a 9yr old cat.. named him "Bailey". what a love.
thanks for sharing your wonderful card.. cats are for sure a major part of the family and true loss is felt.

I love your card! I am soooo very sorry to hear about Kitten. My heart goes out to your sister and I agree with you - she did the hardest, yet kindest thing for that little one. It's never easy, I've been there. I hope she (your sister) is doing okay as well as the rest of you who loved Kitten so very much. That card will be a sweet reminder of the happier times with the little one.

Lovely card for a very sad occasion. I know how hard it is to *do the right thing* for your beloved pet. Your sister is lucky to have such wonderful support from her family during this very heartbreaking time. TFS. Linda

This card is perfect. My co-worker just lost her cat yesterday so was searching for inspiration and found your beautiful creation. You can tell that you are definitely an animal lover too.

That is a very hard card to have to make. The thoughfulness is so appreciated without a doubt! The loss of our pets is a huge loss, for sure. It is the only thing about owning and loving my pets that I don't like. So hard to say goodbye! I see this happened quite some time ago but I'm sure the kitty is still 'with her'. A very cute card to help the healing process! TFS. : )
