The colors were inspired by Strawberry Shortcake, since this card was made for my niece's SS bday party. ;) This is a 4x4 square card.
Aida Cloth was stamped on the green card base with Versamark ink. The punch was masked so it wouldn't have the BG stamped on it. I punched a 1" scalloped square out of the pink checked layer. The flower was stamped with white craft ink & embossed w/white EP. The center was highlighted with Stardust Stickles & a Sakura stardust pen is outlining it. I Cuttlebugged 3 layered flowers with 3 shades of pink paper, used the Crop-a-Dile to punch thru the layers, added a pink brad, then curled the edges. The brads are highlighted with Stardust Stickles, too. The pink grosgrain polka dotted ribbon was attached w/glue dots & the flowers are on Pop Dots. The pink satin bow was added to the top.
It was still missing something, so I pierced around the edges of the card base & faux stitched with the white gel pen. Word to the wise...pierce & stitch BEFORE adding 3-D elements. It was hard to do AFTER. *rolls eyes*
