This will be a birthday card for my colleague who's very much a trickster. I thought the "Wanted" would be very appropriate...
I stamped the cowboy on Cocoa cardstock and distressed it until the cardstock top half peeled from the top bottom. I rolled the corners and applied brown ink all around with a dauber. I also painted the cowboy in shades of sepia with my Aquapainter.
The star was embossed with Pale gold powder (from Ranger) on Saffron cardstock, cut out and glue on a large brad.
I then created a faux bandana by masking the sides of my red cardstock and stamping the paisley in Versamark in the middle. To create the fringe, I used this week's challenge technique, fraying ribbon. I frayed a red gingham ribbon - love the look!
I stamped the Just Jeans background on my card base in blue, and the finial in black (clear stamp from Autumn Leaves).
