Just a few pics of my stamp room that my DH made especially for me. I had to take a picture before my youngest brings in her tons of toys. I had a workshop the day before this photo was taken thus there are only a few stamps. At this very moment, its just one Big Huge Mess. I need more storage. I welcome any tips on how to organize m stamps. Should I separate it from the set or keep it as a set, etc.

Great room! Keep your stamps as sets! I actually seperate them by IB&C book sections: Holidays, Sentiments etc. Have fun getting things to your liking.

I first thought I should seperate them in catagories, like a friend of mine, but soon realized that wasn't for me and then had to put them all back in their containers...what a job it was looking for the stamps that belonged to each set.oivey!!!! I am very happy with them this way..
Now my dream is to stamp the images in a notebook in different catagories, flowers, animals, kids.....
I love your room!!!! Mine is in my dining room, at this time I have about 700 sets.....I should ween them out a bit.
I keep my SU! stamps in sets; all single stamps are kept together(I don't have many of these). I was going to cross reference all my stamp sets on the computer, but decided it was toooo much work. So now I copy the pictures, appropriately label them with the title and keep them in a 3 ring binder. Then I just page through the pictures for whatever word or object I want to stamp and then go find that stamp set from the shelves. I also have each plastic container labeled with large, black lettering i.e. the title Now if I could only figure out a good and easy card stock system I'd be set!! Have a Happy.....Cotton
