Stazon stamped retired SU image, can't recall the set's name. Colored in with sharpie markers, and then painted with acrylic gloss paint to fill in and show detail. I got the idea from another splitcoaststamper member. She had added the textured snow detail to the top! I dated the ornament for a craft show. I painted the light blue to the shaded drawn areas on the snowman and it really did give a great effect.

See heather freeman's gallery, I read how she did her flaky friend ornament, and gave it a try. I love the painted back after you color in the details, it
draws your eye to your artwork. Thank you heather for posting - I love your ornament!! (be sure to allow the paint to dry thoroughly before curling it up to insert into the opening of your ornament. Don't want it to stick, or peel off any decoration!) Margit

Great job ! Don't you love how the layers of color give it more dimension and make the details "pop" ?! Those two adorable snowmen fit inside perfectly, too. I'm happy to have inspired you and glad that you shared your wonderful creation Happy Holidays !

Girls, I think the set is a demonstrator premium offered a couple of years back in the Just for You series SANTA AND FRIENDS SET OF 6. copyright 2001
The snowmen are my FAV! They get used every year! Thanks for all the nice comments!
