I finally used the blossom and tried embossing for the first time. Can anyone help me with how to avoid getting smudge marks from the powder on your card? Any suggestions? thank you everyone for the great ideas on this site

This is very nice! The only thing I can suggest is to use your embossing buddy before you stamp so the powder won't stick in spots it shouldn't. You could also try rubbing a dryer sheet over the card to prevent static too. Oh and you can also use a little brush to wipe off any spots that the powder is sticking to before you heat it. I hope that helps!

Beate also suggests using a swiffer cloth to remove the hazing you sometimes get when embossing (wipe card down AFTER embossing, LOL) - check out the tutorial section of this site. HTH - lovely card - elegant feel to it with textured paper and embossing! TFS

Beautiful card! The embossing buddy does wonders! You just need to actually use it! I got mine and let it sit on the self for a few months, complaining about my smudges...

Great card! lol You couldn't wait to try out the embossing, eh? The stamping bug has bit you BAD!!!!! manyblessings is right on-you use an embossing buddy to cut the static and a small paint brush to remove excess before heating. Very pretty
