I had fun playing with the bar code idea, using the stripe stamp from Background Sampler and the bar code stamp from Down to Business.
The rounded corners on the image and the way it was divided inspired the modular look of the rest of the card. I used the paper piercer to add a little line of holes around the rose piece just on the Not Quite Navy strip...I think it adds something special.
I found that these stamps work the best if you are careful about not putting on too much ink and that if you want a multicolored look, it's really easiest to stamp more than once using different colors of inks and cardstock, then to cut apart and mount these pieces to have more than one color.
