This is for todays technique challenge...to use an aquapainter and pull the ink out in your image. I immediately thought of doing a black and white photo....not sure why but I liked the final result. It reminds me of all the pictures of when I was a kid with the glossy cs, rounded corners and the corner tabs.
I stamped the image on glossy photo paper...used the aquapainter to pull the black ink out...used watercolor crayons to add more highlights and then used aquapainter again. When I was done with the image, I crumpled the paper than smoothed it out and ran a sponge with brown ink over it lightly to give it a more aged appearance. The patterned paper in the bg is stamped with french script and ripped on the top and bottom. I used a similar design I saw on one of Cindy_Haffner's cards for the tag...loved the paper peircing she did so I did that around the sentiment. The tag is on dimensionals!
